The Gladiator GV500G is a gas-powered, trailer-mounted vacuum excavator built by Gladiator HDD for contractors who need a lightweight, versatile, and field-ready vac solution. Powered by a 38 HP Kohler gas engine, the GV500G delivers 532 CFM of vacuum suction through a 3-inch, 20-foot hose via a rotary vane blower — providing strong, reliable performance for potholing, utility locating, hydro excavation, and directional drilling support work.
Manufactured by Gladiator HDD, the GV500G comes standard with a 500-gallon spoil tank, 220-gallon water supply, and a 4,000 PSI adjustable high-pressure wash pump — everything needed for efficient hydro excavation and slurry management on the jobsite.
The GV500G vacuum system features 0.5-micron filtration, a 20-foot 3-inch diameter hose, and a rotary vane blower delivering 532 CFM of airflow. Continuous vacuum is rated at 22 inHg, maximum internal vacuum at 27 inHg, and continuous pressure at 20 PSI — delivering the consistent suction needed to lift wet or dry spoil from depth on demanding excavation jobs.
The integrated high-pressure wash pump delivers 4 GPM at up to 4,000 PSI (adjustable) — powerful enough for hydro-excavation through compacted clay, rocky, and mixed soil conditions. The 220-gallon single water tank provides solid on-board supply for extended excavation runs before requiring a refill.
The 500-gallon spoil tank is built with 1/4-inch shell and heads, rated for full pressure off and full vacuum. A hydraulic door with 8 manual wing nuts ensures a secure seal during operation and fast opening at the dump site. A hydraulic scissor lift system provides complete spoil discharge at a 50-degree tilt angle.
The GV500G rides on two 7,000 lb single wheel axles with oil bath hubs, 16-inch 8-hole steel wheels, and 235/75R 16-inch 14-ply tires. The 12-inch x 2-inch electric brakes with self-charging break-away system ensure safe towing compliance. A 12,000 lb static drop leg jack provides stable, secure jobsite parking. Sealed beam lights with waterproof wiring in nylon tubing complete the road-legal package.
