GLADIATOR G20 HORIZONTAL DIRECTIONAL DRILL

  The Gladiator G20 is a mid-range Horizontal Directional Drill delivering 20,740 FT-LBS of thrust and pullback force — powered by a 72 HP Yanmar engine and built for contractors who need versatile performance across a wider range of soil conditions and bore sizes without sacrificing jobsite mobility.

Weighing 8,998 lbs and measuring 166.14 in L × 57.48 in W × 62.59 in H, the G20 shares the same compact footprint as the G10 while delivering nearly double the thrust and pullback force — making it the ideal step-up for growing crews tackling longer and more demanding bores.

 The G20 delivers 20,740 FT-LBS of thrust and pullback at 200 FT/MIN, with a rotary torque rating of 2,275 FT-LBS. The fluid system operates at 30 GPM @ 1080 PSI with a rotation speed of 223 RPM. Entry angle is 20 degrees, with a suggested crossing length of up to 450 FT and a suggested reaming diameter of up to 15.74 inches. 

  The G20 comes equipped with a 48-rod onboard rack using 2.06 × 120 inch drill rods — providing extended bore reach in a compact, self-contained package. Rod loader arms are standard on the G20, streamlining rod handling and improving jobsite efficiency. 

   Built with a steel hood and rod loader arms, the G20 includes auto anchor, mud flow adjust, and shut-off valves as standard onboard systems. The safety package includes an antifreeze tank, strike alert system, and seat sensor for full operator and equipment protection on every bore. 

The G20 is operated via wireless remote with hydraulic lockout shut-off — giving operators precise, safe control of all drilling functions from the ideal vantage point on the jobsite. 

  The Gladiator G20 is well-suited for: gas and water utility service connections, telecom and fiber optic installations, conduit bores under roads and driveways, and mid-size trenchless projects requiring up to 450 FT of crossing length and up to 15.74 inches of reaming diameter.
